Support Nederlands Dans Theater, sign the petition and pass it on!

 

The petition recently started by Nederlands Dans Theater in opposition to the Dutch

Council for Culture’s proposal to cut the company’s grant by almost 50% and also

to downgrade the company to a ‘regional company’ has already been signed by

thousands of people worldwide.  Prominent names in the performing arts such as

Jiří Kylián, Hans van Manen, William Forsythe, Ohad Naharin and Yuri Grigorovich

have also signed. We have additional declarations of support from other

international cultural leaders such as  Pinchas Zukerman, David Robertson,  Nigel

Redden , Alistair Spalding,  Jamie Lee Curtis, Wendy Perron,  Lawrence Rhodes, Maina

Gielgud and many more.

 

Nederlands Dans Theater is extremely grateful to the many people who have already

signed the petition and indicated their support. We will continue with our

opposition to the advice from the Council for Culture in the coming weeks.

 

Your support is still very important! The more people who sign the petition, the

stronger our opposition.

 

If you have not yet had the opportunity to sign, please do so now! The link will

remain active until around  June 20th. The petition will then be presented to the

Dutch House of Commons shortly thereafter.
